Bandit

Just look at what followed me home last night! And when I say "followed" I mean "rode in the back seat of the car all the way from Grantsville."

He's a border collie and we're going to call him Bandit. Hopefully he'll be a good dog because the plan is that he will come to the shop with me during the day.

It's been almost twelve years since we got our current dog, Ranger, and he was already full-grown when we brought him home. This is kind of a new experience for us. Diane made sure she had an ample supply of earplugs and I bought some extra-strength stain remover.

So far, so good.

He didn't really like the nice little spot that I cleaned up for him with a blanket and his toys and food dish. But, he did like this shelf on the back side of my sales counter. He's sleeping there right now.

Good boy, Bandit.

I absolutely love Border Collies! Best dogs in my book. :) He's super cute, have fun with him!

Oh - and if you find that the stain remover you bought isn't doing the job, let me know. Our dog got a bad kidney infection that caused him to leave messes around our house, and it had me trying every pet stain removing product out there. I finally found one that COMPLETELY eliminated the smell (so he wouldn't continue to smell it and keep going there), after being a dog owner for 4 years. I found it frustrating that most of the products would get rid of the stain but leave a bit of a smell behind.

  3. That is an absolutely adorable little puppy! Maybe you should come home via Hooper tonight and show him off. I know several little boys (and two big dogs)that would love to meet Bandit!
